Nicole Eckhart, LISW

Nicole obtained her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Iowa State University in 2020 before obtaining a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Iowa in 2024.

Nicole has experience working with individuals throughout the lifespan, as she completed her practicum experiences in settings with children, adolescents, and adults. Throughout her time in graduate school, Nicole volunteered with a mental health and substance use recovery group for adolescents while also working as an advocate for young adults experiencing homelessness.

Nicole utilizes a strengths-based approach and believes that every person has the capacity to overcome their obstacles. Nicole believes that every individual has a unique set of skills and challenges, so she pulls from a variety of evidence-based approaches to best suit each individual's needs. Nicole sees clients of all ages for individual and/or family therapy. Nicole is trained in Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and particularly enjoys working with children and their caregivers to build strong, healthy relationships and create positive change within the family as a whole.
